simple Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I actually took the lowered Outback offroad and was surprised how much clearance it still has. My old Passat would have scraped the bellypan to snot if I tried any of the road I was on. I do think I need to put the Accessport back on though since getting up a steep grade on dirt with no momentum is a clutch killer. I just cant get the power down at low rpm in 1st. Anyway, enjoy! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3170/2861303402_48dd99fe6a_b.jpghttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3213/2861304528_76eaf2d2ef_b.jpghttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3276/2863223100_32303174d9_b.jpg

Dergara Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Nice pics. Where were the sheep? I used to live in Lakewood, Co and never saw a herd of sheep, just Big Horn or Elk. “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here” -Dante Alighieri http://youtu.be/lLFunBPgPOo
simple Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 the sheep herd (3,000 of them) was on McClure Pass. They were heading to Marble, CO for the winter. It was of the most amazing things I've witnessed in my life.
Dergara Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 My wife and I really miss it out there. It was like being on vacation for four years. It really puts things in perspective and we hope our toddler son gets to live there one day. “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here” -Dante Alighieri http://youtu.be/lLFunBPgPOo
