lucas569 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 just my ACT clutch kit and i thought i read that i have to use the LGT throw out bearing if i dont switch to the wrx fork. is this true? the kit comes w/ what i assume is the wrx 2.5L TOB so i just want to make sure i have the right parts on hand when we drop the tranny.
lucas569 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 *cricket* *cricket* lol btw talked to my buddy today, he says a lw fw is actually harder to drive? i always thought it would be easier?
Mr. Ed Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 The flywheel you got from me is just slightly lighter than a wrx flywheel. You should feel a stiffer pedal yes, but at an improvement level over stock .... I picked that particualr flywheel over many many reviews and the weight. I'll see what I can find out about that TOB... I didn't even realize it was in there. If I remember correctly it is the same... edit... I know when I ordered it they put that package together specifically for my car... but let me check to be certain. do you have the part number on the TOB
lucas569 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 let me check... Edit: ok tob part # RB844
Mr. Ed Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/act-clutch/apps-Subaru.html lists it to be the correct one but I still want to make one more call later today
