spark plugs

Are sparkplugs in a 1998 Outback too difficult for the averge person to change? tnx..

A trick is to put a piece of rubber hose on the end of the plug to help you start threading them in, once you have the right combination of extensions you will be fine. Also use anti-sieze(small packages are usually at the check-out) on the thread plugs, do not forget to do it or the next plug change you might regret it.
