myUsername
Installed. Thanks again How's the ride? How often do you bottom out?
black318i
Only slightly harsh on bigger bumps, but near stock like ride nicer roads. They seem pretty neutral in the corners, but body roll is still an issue. Overall very nice for a 1" drop. The only time I scrape is when I back out of my driveway too fast. The front will scrape but even then it's not much.
aldouse
damn.. they look nice on your ride. have you upgraded your sways yet? they made a huge difference on for me. did you install urself or have someone else do the install? and did you use your own struts? or did you just bolt in what i gave you.? -- yay for the sig! -- my garage! black318i
Thanks. I installed them and just used the struts you gave me. I was thinking of sways, but decided not to since I'm thinking I will only track my car once or twice. It's a good enough setup for street, but maybe If I find a set cheap enough I will go for it. aldouse
meh... upgrade the sways.... even go for the jdm ones.. it'll help w/ the roll big time. -- yay for the sig! -- my garage!
black318i
So the rear would be from 17mm to 20mm right? How about the front. What do they go for?
aldouse
i didn't bother w/ the front. reasonings: subies have major understeer to begin with.... so you compensate by upgrading the rsb thus creating oversteer... which i like.... why bother balancing it out? i know there's a good reason for doing so.. but i can't justify spending another $150 or so for a fsb when i know it'll just balance out the vehicle by creating understeer. -- yay for the sig! -- my garage!
