Nautious1
I have no clue if this will work but would it be safe to run 17x7 +35 offset on an 05? I know +38 or higher is ideal but wanted to know if the +35 would work? thanks!
str8dwn
It will "work", but you will significantly reduce the life of your bearings (costly to replace) and will likely have the fronts protrude outside the wheel well by 1/2" or so. I don't think most on this board would recommend it. See if you can find a +45 or greater.

DrCloud
35ET, 7" wheels will push the edge of the rim about 3/4" outwards, meaning the tire could wind up under the edge of the fender well (I have a plastic liner there). This means the rears are going to rub when the suspension compresses. I've been there, done that (with different wheels and tires), and it sucks. It might be possible to fix this by removing the plastic liner and rolling the fenders; that depends on how far the tires wind up sticking out. This is on top of whatever damage may happen to the bearings and so on. HPH
