SubieBlkOut
Has anyone done this yet. I just used VHT niteshade to tint my tails and I was thinking that one coat on the turn signals on the mirrors would look really good. Just enought to tone them down without loosing to much brightness. Any ideas. Also I am planning on blacking out the headlights. I will post pics of my baby soon. HansGT
I did some experimenting with the mirrors. It's a real PITA. Be sure to have a hair dryer handy. In the end I didn't like the HID blue on the mirrors.
SubieBlkOut
Yeah I was looking for more of then black look cause my car is black. What is the hair dryer for though? I did learn that very light coats is the way to go with the VHT stuff after doing the tail lights. Sean

Thats how i did my tail lights and it turned out great I was thinking of doing something like that. I know that there are pre cut films for the 05-07 but I wanted to try it on my 08. I didn't think that the window tint would stick to plastic well tho. Any tips or pointers, and what % did you use?
AJW Performance
Just get a little bit of uncut film in "bulk" and cut it to your liking, you could def do it for under 20.

Hokiebird
What is the hair dryer for though? I think those guys are talking about using vinyl overlays. Since you already have VHT nightshades I say just use that. Post up some pics when you are done.
JohnnyGT08
Using the nightshades on my tails has been on my list for a while, hadn't thought about the indicator on the mirror. . . would be very interested to see how it turns out. TSiWRX
Hummmmmmm........ I think I'll give this a try, with VEIL G4, instead. Here's my headlight, VEIL'ed: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u259/TSi_WRX/119-1920_img.jpg I'll post back here in a couple, when I've VEIL'ed the turn lenses. I might not do this until this weekend, though, as VEIL requires about a 24 to 48 hour curing time. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
