sdvictor
Pachilla- Can you pick those up at the Autobacs in Neihu (the one close to the Costco)? Or, do you have to special order those things?

I didn't see anything for Legacy when I visited Autobacs in Neihu, so I am planning to buy them in Japan. But I will call them again just to make sure there is a way to order them in Taiwan. I went to Autobacs in Neihu and the manager told me they can special order any thing available in Japan, normally takes 2 months to ship but if you are willing to pay air freight then its another story. MGV101
wow nice. How well did the lights fit for you? This won't be a perfect fit for us since we got the face lifted rear end and these were designed for the earlier models. Those in the US won't have this problem though since their rear end never got face lifted hahahaha... hmm.. you're from Taiwan right?? Did you realize those lights are actually made in Taiwan too? pachilla
Yeah I am from Taiwan. The lights fit all 2005 to 2008 wagon/outback models since the shape was never changed. But I am still waiting for the lights to arrive. I wouldn't be surprised that the lamps are made in in Taiwan. And if I really wanna do this I can take my stock taillights to local car shops and have them converted to LEDs. They do that to scooters all the time. MGV101
If that outback pictured above was yours then trust me, the shape of the lights have changed. Unless it was a USDM model (and probably a few more countries too) where the back of the car had remained unchanged through out 05 to 08, all other Legacy have had back end changed slightly. See attachment for how the 05-06 look like. The shape of the light might look similar but there is actually a small difference between them. Trust me, including myself, I have seen 4 different persons with these lights installed on their 07-08 legacy. The fitting is always slightly off. Don't worry though, the problem is very minor and is not that noticeable unless you look close.
pachilla
I see, this coming Friday there will be a Subaru gathering and I will try to compare it with a 06 Euro Spec Outback and see if I can pick up any difference in their shape
