FoxHound Posted May 10, 2008 Author Share Posted May 10, 2008 yeah, i painted the brakes. i just used dupli-color high heat brake caliper paint... than after it dried i layed the subaru lettering and than, and this is IMPORTANT i used 4 light coats of high heat engine clear coat, this keeps the brakes looking brand new. i painted this 1+ years ago. it only takes about a day or so to do and it is not very hard, just alot of prep work so that you dont have any over spray Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think "blacked out" would look better on your black car though. The grill looks awesome BTW. Black out the headlights and lower the car and it will be looking sick. jxjjang Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 http://xcf.xanga.com/ba8c607b24032188448125/m144840828.jpg there's a thread here somewhere about blacking out your headlights. you just remove the headlamp housings, bake them, pry the housings apart, tape down the chrome that you dont want painted, and give it a few layers of black spray paint.
