Is this auto or manual trans, boost builds pretty slow and timing could be a bit better. What octane is this on? Oh and if the target is 19psi you are over boosting quite a bit. Oh and if the target is 19psi you are over boosting quite a bit. yea this is an auto which is why full boost is so late. i dont know what target boost but it isnt usually this high. it usually hangs around 19.0-19.2 psi. oh and its on 93 octane and about sea level so i think the boost im getting is appropriate. i have like a hundred knock-free logs with 19+ psi i might be getting such high boost due to the fact that i have a catless 3 in. exhaust system Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
brandonGT Posted May 8, 2008 Author Share Posted May 8, 2008 and i used to run about 17.5-18.0 psi back when i had the OEM intercooler but now with the perrin model the car just seems to be able to take much more boost. i noticed HUGE gains with just the intercooler and a more tuning...i can now spin the tires from a 20 mph roll in a crappy 5EAT!
