trailblaze Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 well as we all know these radios suck... and since i have the climate control it's tough to replace..and well the cost is whats stopping me from doing anything... Today my cd player stopped playing... it worked yesterday? does anyone know if there is a reset button, or has anyone had any problems with the cd player not playing... it will load cd's and just sit there on track 1 and not start reading the cd?? i need some help, since the radio reception sucks... i am kinda screwed!

You can start by unplugging the unit (or pulling the Constant/Memory fuse). Next would be a drive cleaner. If no dice, its time to go inside. Best is to pull just the drive out and watch it work. If you determine its the drive, we have plenty of drives for sale. If your interested, let me know. Quick plug: We have numerous parts left over from the bezel/hvac modded units. Thanks, Rich @ HCA
