blinky44 Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Hey guys, After looking thought the whole OBP photo thread I think I have decided on going with gold rims with a polished lip. I am leaning towards Gram Lights 57Pro but just curious what else is out there that might peak my interest. If you know of any gold with polished lip wheel fill me in. Thanks
Hokiebird Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 BBS RG-R = hawt and that is a good price for them http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86542
blinky44 Posted April 22, 2008 Author Posted April 22, 2008 Not a fan of the BBS-RG-R, I prefer something with wider 5-8 spokes. However, the Volk's look nice...I will keep those in mind too. They might be a little easier to find as well. THanks
EL PAALO Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 anything 3 piece by work, ssr, volk, or bbs should fit the bill and be available (although a 90 day wait for them to be built is likely).
nKoan Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 If you aren't adverse to Rotas... Rota D2 in Royal Gold http://www.subydude.com/osc/product_info.php/cPath/220_21_158/products_id/383 Also, its "pique my interest" not "peak my interest" Not trying to be a grammar nazi, just trying to be helpful.
Xenonk Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 if you dont want to pay that much for name brand rims, you can get some http://www.razewheels.com Keefe
blinky44 Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 Wow, I knew nothing about the raze wheels...I actually am quite fond of the R74's. Would you guys think less of me if I bought a no name brand wheel? $1099 with tires, I like that price range!
Xenonk Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I don't pass judgement, I just get what I want to get. Everyone else will just have to suck it up. Keefe
blinky44 Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 I like the way you think...damn, $1099 for 18's and tires, hard for me to say no
Gire Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 I like the way you think...damn, $1099 for 18's and tires, hard for me to say no Buy 'em fellow Canuck! I like a lot of the Raze wheel designs. As long as you are just driving them on the street, you'll never know if they won't stand up to hard track/ auto-X abuse. Funny, one member here actually won a set of Raze Wheels from Super Street Magazine for submitting his LGT as Ride of the Month! It was a proud day for all of us!
blinky44 Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 I am going to check locally first, there is a place here in Halifax that has good prices on any wheel that kinogwheels.com has, he is getting a shipment in 2-3 weeks. If I cna not find anything there then there is a good chance the R74's will be coming my way. I emailed Edgeracing on these wanting a bigger tire then what they include in their bundles but have not heard back.
