Garandman Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 In today's Globe. They don't say Subaru online but do in the print version. GLOUCESTER, Mass.—Sandra Bullock and her husband were unhurt after a head-on crash with a drunken driver, police said Saturday. The actress and her husband, Jesse James of TV's "Monster Garage," were being driven in a sport-utility vehicle Friday night when a [subaru Forester] station wagon crossed the center line and hit them, said Gloucester police Lt. Jerry Cook. Both vehicles were totaled, but no one was hurt. The vehicles were traveling 15 to 20 mph, Cook said. The other car was driven by Lucille Gatchell, who registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent, Cook said. This is the other driver, not Bullock..... http://cache.boston.com/resize/bonzai-fba/AP_Photo/2008/04/20/1208664658_7808/300h.jpg Who Dares Wins スバル
NewLegGT67 Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Duh!! I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3.
Guest heightsgtltd Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 She's about what I expect a Forester driver to look like
AKLGT Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 She's about what I expect a Forester driver to look like  except for the newer FXT's. Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!!
RaGe Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 she is so, beautiful. OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .
Garandman Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 thats not bullock? No, she has darker hair, and doesn't drive a Forester. Hard drinking is not exactly unknown in Gloucester. To be able to stand up and blow a .20, you have to be working on a serious alcohol addiction. Who Dares Wins スバル
gianspi Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 I'm surprised she was conscious at .2 enough zip ties and duct tape will fix anything.
gfxdave99 Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 http://www.hollywood.com/news/Sandra_Bullock_and_Husband_Hit_by_Drunk_Driver/5222093 I love the quote at the end "It's unfortunate. But it shows you that no one is immune from drunk drivers, no matter how famous you are." That has to be the most ignorant ass thing I have heard in awhile. Garandman Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 I'm surprised she was conscious at .2I dealt with this in the Army. Basically, anyone who is conscious at 0.2 is an Alcoholic. But I gave a breathalyzer to a guy who was perfectly coherent, volunteered to take the test before getting in his car, and blew a 0.22. He didn't get a DUI but his Commander got a report..... Wow now that is someone who can hold their liquor, his liver however probably looks like a punching bag. If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti
BrownBoy Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 I commend the Forester...it took the hit for getting a large SUV off the road I really don't even dislike SUVs, I just thought it would be funny.
Garandman Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 Wow now that is someone who can hold their liquor, his liver however probably looks like a punching bag.How would you like to be issuing firearms and hand grenades to said person? I'm sure he was in the Army for about another week. Who Dares Wins スバル

Jonathan Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 http://www.hollywood.com/news/Sandra_Bullock_and_Husband_Hit_by_Drunk_Driver/5222093 I love the quote at the end "It's unfortunate. But it shows you that no one is immune from drunk drivers, no matter how famous you are." That has to be the most ignorant ass thing I have heard in awhile. It appears that that quote is from Gloucester Police Lieutenant Gerry Cook, and Sandra Bullock didn't say much of anything about the accident. I didn't think anyone thought their is a relationship between fame and drunk drivers, although there may indeed be something of a relationship between personal wealth and drunk drivers, as the wealthy are perhaps more likely to be spending a night out in places where drunk drivers congregate ?
