easton
Mods so far: 18x8 SSR GT2 with 245/45-18 Eagle F1-GS D3 - I cannot believe how these wheels and tires have completely transformed the handling characteristics of this vehicle. I still have a completely stock suspension, but body roll has been drastically reduced, and the grip is phenomenal. Just got the tires on this afternoon. Holy crap. RBS Grille - Not liking the fitment in the lower center part, but I'll just live with it. Headlights - Acural TL/ZKW bi-xenon conversion. Gialla angel eyes. Total pain in the ass. Don't do it. It doesn't fit right without a significant amount of cutting, re-molding the back covers. Light output is A+ though. I completely removed the chrome from the turn signals and inside of the lights and had the body shop paint it DGM. Then I inserted LED strips in the thin reflector strip and those are used for marker/turn signals. The first picture explains the impetus for getting the mods started. What do you think? Next step, coilovers. http://lh5.ggpht.com/eastonaltree/R70a8vT9tLI/AAAAAAAAAfY/TfUB7mDQswc/s800/IMG_3107.JPG http://lh4.ggpht.com/eastonaltree/SAk-GPJeC2I/AAAAAAAAAt4/2KG5DURTnGw/s800/IMG_3338.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/eastonaltree/SAk1y_JeC1I/AAAAAAAAAtA/rXXizN_xchU/s800/IMG_3341.JPG http://lh4.ggpht.com/eastonaltree/R9M09b9bnUI/AAAAAAAAAtc/zDMjblnTU2c/s800/IMG_3290.JPG\] http://lh4.ggpht.com/eastonaltree/R9M07b9bnSI/AAAAAAAAAmk/75NleOkCQoA/s800/IMG_3287.JPG

G.T.Subie
If you want to fix that gap on the grill take some cardboard and stuff it in under the bumper skin mine has stayed for 2+ years. Car looks great Denial is your best friend

NewLegGT67
Beautiful Outback XT. Do you have any other plans in the works? You know this mod thing never ends. I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3.
easton
Fixed the photos. Kind of a pain in the ass to link images from picasa. Added the photo of why all of this work got started.
easton
Beautiful Outback XT. Do you have any other plans in the works? You know this mod thing never ends. Next step is coilovers and sways along with short throw shifter, linkage bushings, STI tranny mount. I want to tighten things up a bit. Way too sloppy right now. I am going to powdercoat the wheels to match the car. After that, I plan on upgrading to an LGT brake system. I will also powdercoat the calipers black. Then, power mods. Accessport, cobb DP, probably some ceramic BB turbo + injectors/pump.

easton
Looking good easton. In addition to the angel eyes, you have hid's don't you? Yeah, I have a set of the Bi-Xenons out of an Acura TL. They were really difficult to fit in the subaru housings, and I still need to open them up again and make a better bracket system for them, just need to find the time. 4S-TURBO
I just saw you yesterday at the freeway entrance on 13th and Clay. I was in a lowered CGM Forester XT with dark rims. My avatar pic is the Leg I used to have, and I've had 3 BH/BE legs before as well. Your car looked good. I love those wheels on it. There was another fella down in Cali that had your same setup, and I thought it was tits. You'll have to make it to one of the PDX/Beaverton meets. Where abouts do you live in the DX? And if you need any OEM parts, PM me first... Scott
easton
You get a new office manager yet to free you up? Not yet, we are handling his duties ourselves for the time being. It only takes like an hour a day! Problem is keeping up with writing all of the proposals in a reasonable amount of time. That is a pain in the butt. Can't wait to lower this just a touch and powdercoat the rims to finish off the appearance mods.

Can't wait to lower this just a touch and powdercoat the rims to finish off the appearance mods. Actually, no. I know Drewster's car, too. There was another DGM with these wheels rolling around with grill and headlight mods as well. I don't know if he's on here, though. I thought maybe that was you.. What color are you planning on powdercoating the rims and what are using to drop it (i.e. what brand of C/O)? Scott
easton
Wow, and I thought I was being all original! Wheels are going to be coated body color. I'm going to leave the lips bright silver. Probably going to use the Megan coilovers, or Rallitek springs (if they get around to making them) with Outback Bilsteins.
4S-TURBO
Easton, you should go to the Portland area meet next month being held @ Rallitek. Should be a good turnout.
