gugarci Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I'm looking to buy a new car in the next couple of months. I'm currently driving a 5 speed 02 WRX Wagon. I've already driven the Legacy 3.0, a 5- speed LGT, a Mazdaspeed3. The Mazdaspeed3 cost less. But has no AWD which i could use since my driveway is at the back of my house which sits on a steep hill. But i can always park the Mazda on the street. If I buy a Legacy it will be a manual gearbox 09 model. Car will most likely remain stock. Which would choose and why??? Thanks.
Impulse Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 drive it hard? legacy commuter car? ms3 fwd ftl, really
MOMSWGN Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I've driven the MS3. Fun peppy car better than the MS6 IMO. I just needed a bigger wagon.
gugarci Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 I didn't realize there was old thread on this subject. Please be nice I've had a tough night. I had to put my best friend down tonight. If there's an old thread I'll search.
Guest heightsgtltd Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Sorry to hear that There are people who actually made the switch or considered it Boostjunkie is one of them I think. Other than him and a couple of others, there are threads on this very topic
whitetiger Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 drive it hard? legacy commuter car? ms3 fwd ftl, really the legacy is a better commuter car too. to me, the ms3 is in the sma league as the neon srt4, cobalt ss, saturn ion redline, and any fwd car with f/i.
gugarci Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 I'll search. I've been trying to keep myself busy all day because I knew tonight we had to put her down. Thanks again.

gf2020 Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I recently sold my '04 Nissan Titan crew cab and my '03 Volkswagen GTI and consolidated down to an '08 Outback XT with 5-speed manual. I looked hard at the Mazdaspeed3 but in the end it was just too small and I decided I needed AWD capabilities.
