Just ordered my Cusco sways, front and rear. Question is, do you guys think its ok to run the RSB with the Autospeed RSB relocator bracket that I already have from my turbo-back? Or do I still need the AVO unit?

Thanks

I have the same set up. What is the fitment issue? If its the pipe itself I would just "adjust" the exhaust. If its something else?

Sorry. My question wasn't clear enough. I'm curious if the supplied Autospeed RSB re-locater bracket(which is intended to reposition the RSB to clear the Autospeed exhaust) is sufficient reinforcement for the RSB mounts. Does it work well enough to not need the AVO RSB reinforcement piece.

My .02. But, beefier is usually better IMHO. I have yet to go wrong with that frame of mind.

My ONLY complaint about the Perrin (I know you want AVO) is that where it mounts to the body mount. It causes some chassis squeaks when it moves. Other than that, with the 25mm Perrin sways, I have no other complaints. Just a small suggestion, but try your current setup and see how it holds up. If you don't like it, then install the AVOs. Or bite the bullet and install the AVOs straight off. Hope this may help.

If I had something important to say, I wouldn't tell you anyway.

I think he doesn't want to risk breaking the current setup because that would involve some welding to repair. The Autospeed part may

stiffen the factory bracket to some extent, but it's not AVO stiff.

How close is the bar to the exhaust now?

If you use the AVO and the Autospeed together, you have to take into account that the bar will be moved slightly rearward. Plus the larger Cusco bar will take some of that room also.
