Jordan Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Hi, I am in the market for some new wheels and I am having a hard time choosing the size, Im dead set on 18s, however I cant decide on the width. I am considering anything from 8''-9.5'' tenzos. Is there any significant disadvangate too have a 9.5'' wide tire? Will that work with my 06, spec .B, and are is tenzo a reputable brand? thank you for your input. P.S I am planning on lowering the car at the same time. Cobbs, or sti pinks?
EL PAALO Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I wouldn't consider tenzo a good brand. 8.5 is the max assuming you want to stay inside the fenders.
itsme Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Did you check the sticky thread in the wheel section that have all the sizes and offset that will fit. Racer X FMIC for '05-'09 LGTs, '08+ WRX and '10+ LGT,'14+ FXT, and '15+ WRX TMIC Racerxengineering.com
Jordan Posted April 16, 2008 Author Posted April 16, 2008 why wouldnt you consider them a good brand, sti pinks or cobbs?
itsme Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 why wouldnt you consider them a good brand, sti pinks or cobbs? I think he is talking about the wheels. Not the springs. Racer X FMIC for '05-'09 LGTs, '08+ WRX and '10+ LGT,'14+ FXT, and '15+ WRX TMIC Racerxengineering.com
EL PAALO Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I was talking about the wheels. generally a cheap knockoff civic sizing company from what I've seen.
bradlgt21 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I thought the pinks were made for JDM not USDM. There are lots of choices out there now, so shop around.
Xenonk Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 if you can find a 9" wide rim with the correct offset, it'll fit. Keefe
