Weekly Fort Worth Meet

Not sure how many of you would be interested in this but I figured I'd post up anyways:cool:

We are starting up a weekly auto meet out in Fort Worth. We're trying to keep the douche-baggery to a minimum too so don't think this will be a ricerfest. Rules are clear, no revving engines, no burnouts, no shit talking, no blaring music or anything else that will get 5-0 called on us. We just want a cool gathering where auto enthusiasts can shoot the shit and go eat some wings at Wings Stop;)

Here is the post we have on about 10 other auto forums....including the visual marketing!

What: West side meet up for anyone who wants to show up. A nice alternative to driving out to Dallas every weekend. Also, to step away from the Beach Street douchebagary while still having a decent sized meet up.

Who: Anyone and everyone is invited

Where: I20 and Bryant Irvin Road, in the Cityveiw/Fit for Life Parking lot

Time: Start showing up around 8:00pm

Cruise: Pending

Trying to get a new weekly meet together. Also trying to get a big group together without the high school stupidity that seems to permeate Beach Street. You know, no sitting there bouncing the engine of the rev limiters, burnouts in the parking lot, anything like that. Still working out a cruise, or if we even want to do one. The location is right off I20, in a big, well lit parking lot. There are a ton of places to eat right there if you want to eat then cruise. If you need any more info or want anymore info, just shoot me a PM or ask here, I'll answer what I can or get you my cell phone number. So come on out, and invite anyone you want!

What days are you guys looking at doing? For instance: currently there is already a weekly Arlington meet on Fridays, and a Grapevine meet on Wednesdays.

All females present are requested to show ID.. haha..bad joke.. but seriously, I don't want to go to jail for that again

Saturday nights. At first, it was just a small thing. Then, we tried to go to that meet in Arlington at some Pizza place, right of I20. It was empty, and a bit of digging showed that they all just got kicked out. So, that kinda motivated me to get this going. I made the above post based on the RX7Club monthly meet post. This is also a good excuse for me to sign up for every car forum in teh worldz!

Anyway, yeah, Saturday night. Anyone and everyone who isn't an idiot is more than welcome. I'm getting a shit showing from the Evo guys, so I'm expecting you Subie owners to pick up the slack. Or just show them up.

I am waiting for confirmation of my re-registration on E46Fanatics and DTMPower(used to have a 325i), and 3si.org to post this up there. Also looking for a good WRX/STi/I forum to post up in (NAISOC scares me). Contimplating Rice Killer, LS1Tech, etc. Another member from DFWMazdas is working on the Honda side of things. Invite anyone you want who is in to cars and just wants to meet up and chill!

lolz..why does nasioc scare you...

they are usually up to one of these "mega" style meets about once a month...

as a matter of fact the above has already been done on a monthly basis, most of those clubs came...but it was in grapevine.

I can't remember the guy who organizes it

That's really odd....both Totallynotamused and I are from Colleyville and I don't think either of us have ever been to this meet.

Regardless, it can't be that good if I've never heard of it....Our meet is going to kick it in the face, twice, with boots that are on fire and have razor blades embedded in the soles.

You know, no sitting there bouncing the engine of the rev limiters, burnouts in the parking lot, anything like that. The location is right off I20, in a big, well lit parking lot. We will be parked out under the lights in front of the Academy, on the I20 side of the parking lot. Coming from Dallas or heading west on I20, exit Bryant Irvin and turn left. Go over I20, it is the first parking lot on your right.

We will be cruising out to the Flying Saucer. There is a cover, but they have good drink specials and food for anyone that wants to eat. Cruise route is simple. Take I20 east to 820, then from 820 take 287 into down town Ft. Worth. There will be a parking garage right there, it is free on the weekends. If you need any more info or want anymore info, just shoot me a PM or ask here, I'll answer what I can or get you my cell phone number. So come on out, and invite anyone you want!
