fuzzydd Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 I'm thinking it's either I lost too much grease while transferring it from the old one OR how I omitted the bottom-most rubber ring on the basket because I was having an ass of a time getting it back in Thoughts?
MarkV Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 put the bottom ring on!!!!!, you need that, without that the plastic on the bottom is gonna get chewed up from the shifting9if ur low on grease... the bottom ring is meant to help it slide...... do what i did, put the bottom ring on the cup, thne try and possition the shifter in **exactly* parallel to the metal holdster(or wherever) and gently slide it in....with some force....dont wiggle it, cuz the bottom ring will fall out when you get it in the part that will stick out a little will be the top ring, you can just slide that back into place with ur finger, make sure to where gloves though, that oem grease is very .....well...very greasy I've Crashed My ROFLChopper into a LOLCanOhttp://legacygt.com/forums/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=16939&dateline=1230531251
