Rear lifting point on 2008 obxt?

What is the correct spot to use to jack up the rear of the vehicle? On my acura it was the tow hook in back , is this true for the outback? I can't find the info anywhere, using the rear diff seems sort of far under the car.

Either use the side rails just forward of the C pillar (one side at a time) or if using a trolley jack, jack under the diff, make sre you don't catch the sway bar.

 

Been doing it for years, no problem.
