Spec B Alternatives

I really like the look of the Spec B wheels, but they are 18X7. Looking for aftermarket wheels that closely resemble Spec Bs but are a bit wider and alot lighter. Any suggestions?

Any one know if the Spec B wheels will clear BBK (Stoptechs)?

Also like mesh designs, but can't really find any that are 18s, light weight, and clear BBKs.

Thanks.

^That is why I am asking for similar rims that can fit BBKs. Those enkei are not that close. How about the Ce28nf?

Spec B ('06-'07) are 10 spoke, good options are, as follows

Advan RS

http://gruppe-s.com/Advan/advanrs.htm (My planned replacement for BBK and wider 18x8.5)

Advan RCIII

http://gruppe-s.com/Advan/advanrc3.htm (my second favorite, I'd go gold however I'd try to get a custom gold tone, between gold and bronze)

Advan Kreutzer Xi

http://gruppe-s.com/Advan/advank10i.htm

Volk CE28N

http://gruppe-s.com/Volk/volkce.htm

Volk CE28NF

http://gruppe-s.com/Volk/volkce28nf.htm

These are probably the closest as you already picked up on, as the spokes are flush (hence the "F") like the Spec B rims.

A few more spokes, but still the tits

SSR Type-F (new)

And another new, soon to be released, 10 spoke, but with tweaked spacing

You're right, I like flushed designs better. Advan RS is nice. How about this? JDM STi Enkei but only available in 17X7.5 and 18X7.5; silver and gunmetal finishes. It's got that Spec b flavor. I don't know if they will clear BBKs

don't worry, they do come in 4 x 100.

I know someone who got them installed on their legacy already.

Are you planning to lower the car? If so, actually scratch that, if you are, or arent, just know that like most Subaru rims (as designated by the +55 offset) that they are sucked in under and I mean under the edge of the fender so it looks awkward since the wheels and tires are inside (well inside if you lower it) the edge of the vehicle.

A member I know from the legacy club here in Hong Kong had them installed and the +55 offset wasn't exactly that bad. Here's a picture of his car with the STi wheels and lowering springs from Wangan installed. Maybe the springs didn't lower his car enough to amplify that problem you have mentioned as his car doesn't look that low.

That is one good looking wagon. Got any picts of a BSM wagon with those shoes? I like those wheels better that the ones on japanparts.com as they have a different center design:

How about any lightweight mesh designs in 18 that clear BBKs? STIs clear but costs $3.7K:

Sorry, but we don't have much BSM Legacy here.

From the same guy and the same Legacy... He used to have the other STi wheel installed too.
