Finally got the setup on after waiting on the spec B top hats. Followed others advice and didn't use the fat washer thing and also made sure the drainage holes on the srpgin seat were out. Thank god for this forum.

Bilstein HDs

Spec B top hats

S Techs in front

H techs in rear

As far as the height is concerned it is within 1/8 from before and after. Its an 1/8 higher right now but I haven't let it settle much before the pics. So on to the pics.

Before - stock shocks and Htechs front and rear.

After

The ride is now how it should have been from the factory. The increased spring rates from the S techs up front is a very nice compliment to the HD's and the ride height is perfect for what I wanted. I also have had the IPD rear sway bar and stock front for a while, but adding the bilsteins made the car rotate so much better. On throttle through tight corners at 20mph gives the perfect amount of rotation for the grip I have. Overall I think this is a perfect setup for a daily driver.

Hey-

I just bought your front H-Techs, and was wondering- Are the pics here and in the sale thread with the Bilsteins or with stock struts?

Obviously, it really only matters in the rear.

Before - stock shocks and Htechs front and rear.

Going on a limb here when i say that the before pics were taken with the OEM ( stock ) struts with H-Techs.

OTM.

Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about ;).

Before pic is with H techs front and rear on stock shocks. The pics in the FS add was stock shocks H techs front only.

I'm running 245/40 on a 17x8 et 46. No rubbing whatsoever and the fenders are NOT rolled.

dr sharp, here are the pics you were asking for.

Pics in the driveway can be deceiving as its sloped and makes the rear look saggy. It was pretty flat though.

The Legacy looks great with that stance, those wheels, and in that color. Very nice.

I like that e30. I have a white 88 coupe that I am prepping for track use. Are you active on the e30 boards?

I actually sold the 318is also. I might be getting it back for $500 though. Never was active on the e30 boards. I spent most of my time on the legacy.

Can I ask why you mixed H-techs and S-techs? Are the H-techs just too sloppy for you? Or was it just a matter of levelling the car out with the bigger drop of the S-techs in the front?

Cheers
