Th3Franz Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I think this spring I might need to replace my rotors. Is there an easy way to check the thickness so that I know if they are close to being unsafe? What is the minimum thickness they can get to until they should be replaced? -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
BlackHole Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 The minimum thickness is cast into the rotor. If I remember correctly it is on the inside of the rotor, the outermost ring of the hub area next to the inner rotor face. It's probably about 28mm min, but you should double check with any shop that turns rotors to verify specs. Kyle "BlackHole"
