welby Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I have a Kenwood amp that I'm going to run bridged to a 10 or 12" sub. I'm going wire up a LOC behind the dash and run my RCA's back to the trunk where the amp will be. I'm going to run the LOC off of the rear speakers so I can use the fader to adjust the output of the sub. After looking at this ---> http://www.geocities.com/svxdc/Legacy-pinout.htm , is it correct that assuming I'm using the left rear speaker as my LOC signal, I should use the (#5)white/red and (#13)red/black wires to tap into? It's probably as obvious as it gets, but I want to double check that it applies to Legacy's Also, can the turn on lead of the amp be hooked into (#10)yellow/red ? There are, indeed, stupid questions
Mitch Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I don't have the correct answer for you. Because I used those harnesses and used all four speakers lines (lf,rf,lr,rr) to run back to the amp. And then ran all four lines out to the harness back into the doors. (No LOC) You could send a PM to "SVXdc". He made that harness for you. If I'm going faster than you, Move Right.
str8dwn Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Highly recommend just buying his male and female harnesses. Tapping into or cutting the factory harness is silly for a $30 part.
