laz
The cutting looks good, but I think you may need a respray with the right metallic black paint. You can get it in a can from http://www.paintscratch.com/ It would make it look more blended. You can also use it on the lip. X ---

I ordered the paint on friday from paintscratch.com. I will be respraying the lip and the bottom of the bumper when it comes in, i wanteda partial remedy for the week that i need to drive it before i can actully spray it. I ordered a spray can, and sealant. Im gunna sand it all with really fine grit sand paper and then priming it, base coating it and then clear coating it all. lightweight14
Old bump. Curious how the bumper is holding up? I want to do this but want to make sure removing that piece does not affect the bumper in a negative way. Able to provide details on how you went about the mod?? Thanks

lightweight14
He went JDM shortly after doing this. For cosmetic reasons or the factory wasn't holding up???
Yayo
besides bondo what else can you do to cover up that bumper hole? I wanted to maybe put a long strip on carbon fiber sticker/film along that section of the bumper... hmm. i don't even know where I would find something like that. leahy
very nice. i did this to my turbo eclipse several years ago, but since my car was white, i had to spray the area where the cuts were made. not sure if you need to, but the paint from http://www.touchuppaintonline.com was cheap and the quality was great.
