JugglerLKR Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Sorry wrong forum - can't delete topic. Hi! I have 3.0 H6 01' and it idles very rough. Me and my tech double checked everything - sparks, ingintions coils, throttle body, IAC valve, injectors, o2 and afr lambdas, map, etc. We were unable to find failed part. I need someone to make kind of "reference log" from enginuity logger 0.4 for me. I will compare it with my logs to find what's going on wrong. As for now it seems that ECU is tryng to lean A/F ratio when idling to -14% -30% - which is probably wrong, but since I don't know for sure I need a reference log from cold start to fully warm engine. It would be great if someone will include in log for me: 1) engine speed 2) coolant temp 3) A/F ratios 4) MAP sensor readings 5) Idle valve duty in % 6) injector opening pulses or something like that 7) add what you think is imporant for me to solve my issuse - this should be enough to start figuring out what's wrong. Thanks in advance. Sorry for my english - it is not my native langugage.
ehsnils Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Just for the sake of it - check all your hoses and see that they aren't cracked or have left their intended position. Also check that you have all electrical connectors in place and that the ignition cables are both clean and correctly routed. Even better is to replace the ignition cables. A relatively cheap workaround to see if the problem gets solved. It only takes a hairline breakthrough to cause problems. Of course - an injector that tends to "stick" occasionally can also cause problems. Even if it is electrically sound it may not open everytime or delay the opening sometimes. Or not close in time - take your pick! And you are sure that none of your friends has pulled a prank on you swapping two ignition cables?
JugglerLKR Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 Thanks for reply, but we doublechecked everything already. All hoses, connectors, fittings, etc. It is not possibe either to swap ignition cables or replace them, because 3.0L H6 engine has coil-on-plug ingnition type. 6 injectors were checked for equality, performance and spray - they are ok too.
