jerseycat10 Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 3 weeks ago, I got a CEL: P0131. My dealership installed a new O2 sensor under my extended warrantee, and the problem went away. At the same time, I installed a new air filter (STP), and my gas mileage shot back up to where it is supposed to be (27-28 MPG). About a week ago, I noticed the MPG dip back down to 22-23 MPG, and then my CEL came on again, this time: P2097. According to the OBD2 printout, it is a post catalyst fuel trim system too rich bank 1. Anyone experience this, and can lend advice? Is this another o2 sensor, or something else? Many thanks, AJ
Jon in CT Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 There is an ECU reflash available from Subaru which fixes a problem with P2097. Don't know whether it'll fix your problem, though.
CDN 2.5i Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I've got a similar experience to jerseycat10, had my front O2 replaced due to P0131 about a month ago and now I have a P2097. I've added comments to the thread here http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2808959
