Fosgate
This should be stickied. http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=11153 It has been a while since I have been on, and I have scanned through the posts and have not seen this posted anywhere, and if it has been, then I appoligize. I have found a site that sells a double din dash kit with dual zone A/C. http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_detail.php (if this doesn't work use next link) Half way down the page, part number: 107-209-006, Description: AV PANEL SET http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?dealer=1&car=7&middle=2&small=13 I have not tried this, however it does look tempting. They offer bother the single and dual zone climate control. Enjoy.
lamw001
Good find but I've heard there would be problem between the degree F and degree C calibration. Unsure it's true or not tho.
Fosgate
I always assumed Japan was Degree C not F. It has a disclaimer that it MIGHT NOT work with USDM. Somebody needs to TOFTT.

HighlineCA
As a matter of fact, we have a tester unit coming to us for development. We believe it is possible it all works. Some trickery will need to be done to get it all to work. We will start a Development Study thread when the unit arrives and we get some solid answers. Stay Tuned! whobaru
um...the hazard switch hole is on the wrong side. This pic shows silver, other pics show black. I'm confused. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x312/kagenmateer/dashkit.jpg
Fosgate
The zones are backwards too. In Japan, they drive on the right.
lamw001
It is because that panel is a JDM unit. They only have black finish instead of our silver.
whobaru
It's no problem for our switch wire to reach the other side, right?
lamw001
I've read that it needs to be lengthened.
HighlineCA
One of our goals with the JDM setup will be correcting the format - hazard will be in the upper right, and temp controls in the right place. Much more details about the whole project will be posted in this forum. Stay tuned! Rch @ HCA

biz77
You guys do realize that the center stack is not completely symmetrical and cramming this into the dash will likely leave gaps in some spots and be too tight in other spots. By the way, no one has ever thought of this before: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55347 Here is a picture of the JDM center vent assembly installed into a USDM car. Notice the bottom left corner will not seat into the opening and there is a nice gap on the bottom right. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a41/googalash/Car/DSC00989.jpg I realize that this isn't the main center stack you are looking at, but trust me the cars are not symmetrical between RHD and LHD. Even if you get the electronics to work the unit will not fit without custom cosmetic work.

Knight705
all about driver position. the dash is slighting arc'ed toward the driver, so it would be safe to assume that dash pieces out reflect this slight arc.
