swo302 Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Does anyone know the difference between these two items. I do not know much about either and I plan to purchase one of the two for my 2006 Legacy NA. I would prefer the quieter of the two. Does anyone have first hand experience with these two parts?
harman.khinda Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I'd say the Prodrive is quieter. I only have experience with the Perrin axle-back.
TXLeggy Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Im workin on a sound clip of the perrin cans i just install on my 07 NA...I jus got to get a good idle clip and ill post it.
TXLeggy Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Here you go...My car is a 2007 so it basically the same as the 2006. It has the EL headers and the messed up exhaust that has no bolt-on except the axle-back. I still have the resinator in my car. I have another Y-pipe with the resignator deleted but it was way too loud... swo302 Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 How big are the tips for both the prodrive and the perrin? 3'', 3.5'', or 4''?
TXLeggy Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 The Perrin Sport-tones are 4" and the prodrives are Oval similar to the stock exhaust.
