Jon in CT Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I've only seen this mentioned once, buried in a thread in a regional forum and I thought it deserved wider notice. SOA has a reflash available for 2007-8 turbo Legacy and Outback models equipped with manual transmission. The description of the problem fixed is "Hesitation at 3000-4000 rpm during acceleration."
CapnJack Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Most of the info is in here: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69369 I've had this flash completed on my 07 LGT 5MT and I've got about 400 miles on it. It is better, but still not gone. Be prepared to spend some time at the dealer to get the flash done. They want to hook up to a battery charger 45 min prior to the flash.
heh2k Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 When was this flash released? I got reflashed a few months ago and it mostly cured it.
CapnJack Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I believe it was Jan/Dec time frame. It seems everyone with the Spec b says it's gone, but I have not heard one person yet with the GT 5MT that says the dealer has fixed their hesitation.
