Deer Killer Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 The bushings were always too large, but the extra padding I've been using to keep them from clunking is no longer working, especially when cold out. Who has rubber bushings that will actually fit the bar properly?
Deer Killer Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 Good question! I guess I'm going to have to go under the car with some calipers.. I was hoping somebody already tried. I have to assume you want to undersize the bushing by some amount to, which I don't know either. The current bushings fit snug when stationary, but it's just not tight enough.

BigBad Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I have Cusco sways F&R 23mm and 21mm. The Cusco rubber bushings lasted about 8 months before clunking started. I replaced them with the energy suspension universal greaseable poly bushings and brackets in the front. For the rears I used the universal non greaseable ones (as they don't have greaseable in 21 mm) then drilled and tapped the bracket/bushing so I could grease them just like the front. I had to modify the passenger side front bracket slightly to fit as its different from the left side but other than that they are great.
