05GT Guru Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 The JDM versions of our cars and the STI are 2.0, and 2.0 turbo- this is a rally inspired car, one of the rules to being a rally car is you must have a 2.0 so JDM still uses it.
whitetiger Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 ^well, he has the 2.0L non turbo. so he is asking if all the mods for the 2.5 NA crowd will fit his car, and i think they will.
hasskawi Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 yes im talking about the 2.0L non turbo and thanks for your replies
ehsnils Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 I have a 2.0L non-turbo Legacy Wagon and that's not the most exciting model, but it sure is doing it's job. The 2.0 is relatively wide-spread, but not in the US. The advantage with it is the economy more than anything else. Some countries like Italy has a car tax based on cylinder volume, which explains why you see a lot of small cars in Italy and only a few large. Volvo created a 2.0 liter version of the 850 especially for the Italian market while it was 2.3 liter otherwise.
