Wagon Sag

Is there anyway to get rid of the slight rear end sag that the wagons seem to have with the stock suspension? Could you possibly double up on the top hats in the rear to level it out, or will that somehow negatively affect handling/ride characteristics? Are there any other ways to do this??

Some people have doubled up on the rear rubber spring seat, which essentially preloads the rear spring and raises the rear slightly. Others have resorted to mixing and matching springs, like I did. I'm running Bilstein HDs with mix-matched springs: STI pinks in front and JDM LGT wagon springs in rear.

Yeah, I run doubled seats right now. Helps a little, maybe like 10mm.

Rallitek has a new rear spring set. Can't find the link at the moment.

Yeah I was thinking about different springs, but I'm going to be reinstalling the stock struts, which is why I was wondering if I could add top hats. I like the idea of doubling up the rubber spring perches, gonna have to find an extra set now.

Any luck with that link? Or can anyone point me to where I can buy some or a PN??

I've got 56K on my stock suspension, and I typically carry about 40-50 lbs of gear in the back area all of the time. I've got a full-size spare, the Subaru Trailer Hitch mounted, and I occassionally tow my Let's Go Areo Sport AT Trailer and I think the car looks perfectly level front to rear on both sides, so I'm curious what sag you're referring to in your OP.

I am converting my wagon over to full Spec B Bilsteins and STI Pink Wagon Sport springs with single spring pads in the rear (for handling purposes). I got extra pads with the setup, but am not convinced I need to go this route. Are you Pink Spring wagon members convinced that the spring pads needs to be doubled up, or is a different spring required to go with a single pad and retain the pre-loaded front-to-rear ride height?

ejoy1220- I hope I didn't take your post OT, but there's been a lot of discussion about doubling up (mostly from the sedan crew), that I wanted to hear from the wagon brethren and sistren.

This is probably more than you want, but I went with coilovers for their flexibility. I also purchased couple sets of different stiffness springs for the coilovers.

Now I can set virtually any height, and with the springs, variable rides from just just barely stiffer than stock (rides just about as nice) to good and firm for the track.

I'm currently running coilovers :)
