ehsnils Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 The Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter has done a test drive of the new Impreza and published a set of pictures: http://www.dn.se/DNet/road/Classic/article/47/jsp/bildspel.jsp?a=742026 Notice that this may have a few differences compared to the US model, but I can't really tell if you can find any on the pictures. See it as a sport!
jagcars26 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Push button starter.Annnnnnnnnnnnd still fairly ugly.lol
NutBucket Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 ****!! Why won't SOA give us Recaros???? WHY!?!?!?!
IwannaSportSedan Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 You already said the answer, right in the middle of your post. SOA. That is why. Stupid Obstinate Airheads. If they follow SOC (canada) and cancel the Legacy GT Limited, I am not sure I can buy another Subaru car. With what they have done to the Legacy lineup, leaving recaro seats off the STI is par for the course.
CTlegacy06 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Seriously SOA will be the downfall of Subaru. They think they are selling these cars to Accord/Camry buyers.... DUrrrrrr those people already have Accords/Camrys, Subarus need alittle more style to compete in the niche market its in.
PLTek Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 man you got me all worked up. i thought that this was a face-lift to the ugly 08 impeza
BENCOB Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Hello ehsnils, thanks for the post. What is the price for the sti in your country?
ehsnils Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 Last price I saw was about 400k SEK, which means that it's about $63000 The current pricelist doesn't include the STI, but at least it has a 2.5 liter engine with 300hp@6000 and 407Nm@4000.
ShadowImg Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 122,462 Turkish New Lira =100,541US Dollar Too bad that's not listed in the original Turkish Lira, where 122,462 would have been like $0.11 USD
BENCOB Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Too bad that's not listed in the original Turkish Lira, where 122,462 would have been like $0.11 USD http://www.yerka.com/images/model/wrxsti25turbo.jpg Right, there were many billionaires (sp?) and even more millionaires (sp?) in Turkiye until 6 zeros were dropped from the currency......So, about 1 for the price of 3 in USA......
AKLGT Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 that's insane! I love my 08 STI (sorry, RC) but no way i'd spend $40K for it much less $63K! Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!!
change_agent Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Price in Canada close to your 40,000$ it is 44,000$ before PDI and Provincial and Fed taxes.
BernardP Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 The Impreza reminds me of Céline Dion. With enough photo and lighting tricks, just the right makeup and angle, plus subtle shadows...it almost looks good!
ehsnils Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 You won't buy an Impreza for it's good look, but because it does what it's supposed to do. You have an Impreza to show off - if you want to go anonymous you get a Legacy.

Careful, you are talking about Quebec's most favoured icon....after all she is a legacy in her own right:)
