V4LG7 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 No snow here. I'm over the snow. I hope it doesn't snow anymore for the rest of this season.
whitetiger Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 ^I think im in the same boat. If i knew 100% that it would not snow, and therefore no more salt on the road, id be conveting my car back to summer mode and getting ready for the start of the upcomming autox season.
Voytech Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 You party poopers! It hasn't snowed here once this winter. Some sleet but no real snow. I went outside and it's sticking. Nice!
V4LG7 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I'm ready for the warm weather. I haven't washed my car in months, it has layers of salt on it. According to the weather channel, 1inch of snow is expected. If I want snow, I want all or nothing. Not this 1 inch BS.
slimjoe Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Just a small base layer on the grass here (you can still see the grass). But on the roads, it looks like slush, maybe slowly giving some coverage but nothing to get excited about. Stupid winter and the lack of snow
MonkeyHermit Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I'm torn! On one hand I'm like whitetiger, I've got a set of coilovers waiting to go into the car...but on the other hand, the snow is so puuurty! Although, in the end I'd like the weather to be nice again. Enough of this cold weather crap!
HangKen Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 snow sure is here....I need a Spiked Tires to get up my drive way.....Ugh.....

I need like 12" or more so no one is on the roads so i can drift around town and have fun. Otherwise, gimme warm weather.
Voytech Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 ^Agreed. 12" of snow would be nice. Empty roads FTW! Looks like a good 1/2" is already on the street.
subleg05gt Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 we got plenty of snow here to have fun ________ HARMED BY WELLBUTRIN
V4LG7 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 We're supposed to be getting 4" up here. Weak! As long as its all cleared in the AM ill be happy.
MonkeyHermit Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Got rock salt hurled into the side of my car by huge salt trucks twice on the way home from work
whitetiger Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 There is enough by me to have some fun on the roads
phillyflyers50 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 there's snow here cars were getting stuck going up a hill.. an acura rsx was just spinning and going nowhere and so was an altima.. what do i do? make sure nobody was coming behind me and just go right around them.. gotta love the legacy
whitetiger Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Definitly. I love laugh at the peple who get stuck as i drive by with ease.
slimjoe Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 <sigh> It's just too easy in this car. Especially since I put on new tires I tried to put it into a few power-induced slides around corners but I couldn't get it to push out. I miss my RE92's
phillyflyers50 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 yea my new tires are great. i have the Kumho Ecsta ASX (KU21). 205/50 R17 93W Treadwear 420 Temperature A Traction AA. i'm pretty impressed with them
tito_b0y Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Just did a few donuts at the local church lot meself. 2006 SWP 3.0R 5EAT VDC BBQ 2008 OBP 2.5i 4EAT BBQ [RIP]
Voytech Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Right on! Around 5pm we had about an inch I guess. When it was all said and done (around 8-9pm) it was 2". Then it just started raining. But I did have some fun. 33% understeer + 33% oversteer + 33% full on traction = 99% fun.

Voytech Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 basically... the 1% was reserved for a wheel&curb meeting...
MonkeyHermit Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 basically... the 1% was reserved for a wheel&curb meeting... Ah, understood. That sucks
