joeblow
You can buy my wheels for sale in the f/s forum if you have a spare $2k lying around. lol But seriously a set of wheels will do more toward changing the look of your car than anything else short of buying a different car. It's cool; I'm with the band

Sansoo Ian
They usually go for under $70 shipped on ebay. Look for a S204 lip. I'm about to order up my second one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-07-IMPREZA-STI-URETHANE-FRONT-PU-LIP-V-SPEC-S204-JDM-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a0c86edffQQitemZ180598795775QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories So this will fit an 08, no modification needed right? MatsuDano
Just did my blackout headlights. It was a PITA to mask the outer rim, but it came out pretty nice IMO. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/danoh5656/Car/IMG_20110313_000430.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a190/danoh5656/Car/IMG_20110313_185043.jpg

grossi419
Just did my blackout headlights. It was a PITA to mask the outer rim, but it came out pretty nice IMO. Is there any reduction in brightness? And can you get some more pics of the lights (on and off)? I'm trying to decide how I want to do the lights on my OBP. Yours is the first I've seen with the outer edge painted.

No reduction in brightness, as the only part of the reflective material that was functional for the headlights was the highbeam reflector. That stays with the rest of the projector housing though. I DID, however, mask the reflective portion for the turn signal bulb as well. I'll post up some pics when I get out of bed today, I have a sinus infection and it's no fun

applesauce
The carbon doesn't look all that bad. Is it an overlay or replacement carbon fiber pieces? At first I saw the wood and it threw me off its almost like an oxymoron. Maybe pick up a little matte vinyl to cover it up. I don't know just a thought. ticklelgt
its an overlay http://www.stickercity.com/3M-Di-Noc-Carbon-Fiber-Vinyl-Wrap-60-Inch-Sheet.html the wood i didnt get to finish yet too cold to do it outside and i couldn't figure out how to remove it to do it inside

brooklyngenius
the only thing I noticed was that you didnt match the grain pattern. where 2 pieces met you had the grain going in opposite directions. other than that good job! useless signature line where i cant mention my sponsors "First Bagged BL5!" ticklelgt
yeah i didn't worry about it too much and this was my first time wrapping, the real ones just cost way too much, maybe in the future, but for now this will do much better looking than the wood
MatsuDano
I kinda like my real fake wood real fake wood vs carbon fauxber, ha! But seriously, it doesn't look all that bad. Reminds me of the ZHP interior of the old 330ci's.
RIPjeep2002
Where did you wrap on 2 pieces? Was it the big center dash pieces? B/C that was the section I had a hard time wrapping last time.
ticklelgt
the big center dash i actually just tried using one big piece at first big once it was on i started cutting and i cut a little to much on the sides and ended up having to have to add a couple of small pieces you dont really notice it though
MatsuDano
Is there any reduction in brightness? And can you get some more pics of the lights (on and off)? I'm trying to decide how I want to do the lights on my OBP. Yours is the first I've seen with the outer edge painted. Pics with lights on and off in a dark garage. The light against the wall is rather short because I'm only a few feet away. Pull further back and the brightness/projector line is the same as without paint.
