vkchu Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 has anybody purchased this aftermarket warranty for their lgt? if so, how has your experience been with filing claims and such? as comprehensive as the factory added security plans? i understand the subaru warranty is preferred, but i figured i might as well ask since i didnt see any posts on the ge option. thx.

Opie Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 We have a few customers with GE Warranty's. They are slightly less inclusive than the Subaru S.A.S. warranties and more difficult making claims. That said they are not horrible, GE and Mercury Insurance offer two of the best aftermarket warraties I've dealt with. Behind the Subaru S.A.S. policies, they are fine.

I know we also carry Nissan Quality Guard(not my favorite to use) I had one customer that had an extended warranty with a company that does all of their claims via fax/internet, no personal communication. I couldn't believe it.
