spiderpig Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I just received and installed my rallitek stg 2 map for my 08 spec.b - it is amazing. the target boost is 18 psi - and all I can say is that it feels like it doubles the gain obtained going from stg 0 to stg 2 (cobb map). also the power curve is so full and linear it feels like a hot normally aspirated v8 truly, truly awesome!
Zed 2.0 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Does rallitek do maps similar to TDC's etunes? (e.g., check off your mods from a list and then get the map)

spiderpig Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 Does rallitek do maps similar to TDC's etunes? (e.g., check off your mods from a list and then get the map) yes, they asked and I listed my mods (tmic, catted dp, panel filter) and octane rating - they did the rest
XLeezardx Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I give 1 week to get used to the power and want more!

Infamous1 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I would hope Rallitek did as well, that is the only way to somewhat properly e-tune.

I bought my AP from TDC - but have heard/received nothing related my free map from them. It would be great to even hear from them that they need two months to complete - I simply dislike hearing nothing from them regarding an estimated time line. Others may disagree - but that's my $0.02

mickeyd2005 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 You might be able to datalog with this. http://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36743 Not all the parameters will be available. However, RPM, MRP, and Total Timing should be available. Those alone should give you a good idea of how it's running. BTW, I find it odd that two other vendors were having trouble getting their 07-08's to boost.

Up till now, that was what I was use using but have since purchased a VAG-COM cable in order to use Enginuity.
Boostjunkie Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Definitely log any kind of off the shelf map. I just saw a map that was tuned on 92 octane fuel run on an 08 STi run 1 full AFR point leaner on our lovely highly oxygenated CA 91 octane gas. Needless to say, the car wasn't too happy about it.
