Eric B Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Hi guys, nice forum you got here. Lots of good info. Anyone know how to remove the trim that runs along the bottom of the front door opening(The piece that holds the carpet down)? This is a '97 Legacy GT. My carpet has gottem wet from recent, heavy rain here in Northern California. Thanks in advance. Eric
icrackedcorn Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 are there round pop rivets in the plastic trim? get a stick and start prying obedience to church and state is subjugation to the unjust authority of men
Eric B Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 There is 1 plastic rivet, on the side, towards the front. Along the bottom, I can see some sort of attaching mechanism under the plastic, if I pry it up a bit. It looks.....uh....not round (oval shaped?), so I wonder if it needs to slide back, then up. Prying gently does not seem to work. I will get a repair manual & check in there.
