fonts
So just installed my SpecB specific Kartboy STS, front and rear bushings. The shifting is incredibly stiff - so much that set up just isn't workable. Any suggestions??? I'm guessing that the front bushings may have been overtightened??? Thanks. RaGe
well everything that you took off nut wise does not need a heeman tightend. A little snug yes but not overtightend. You might want to go back over everything and recheck it. I have the COBB STS and i have a notchiness but not stiffness. OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .
chenc544
Any suggestions??? I'm guessing that the front bushings may have been overtightened??? Probably. The torque spec on that nut is only like 11 ft-lbs. Also make sure you have the outside plate on the bushing facing the right way. You might also want to check this nut on the pivot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/Warwick_5S/STS6.jpg

That was it. Guess a little excited when I closed it all up and made the mistake. Feels incredible now.

fonts
It's great. The entire setup is much cleaner and more responsive. A little bit more noise as well but not necessarily a bad thing.
