oliiman
i was just wondering if there was anyway to adjust my idle to make it a little higher than what it is now (200rpm) most times wen i first start driving the car its at a staedy 800 but if it runs for a little while it starts to get low it might jus be me but your input would be greatly appreciated
qikslvr
Have you done any modifications to your car? It should idle at about 750RPMs in neutral/park. If you have an automatic; it will drop some when you put it in gear. It should drop to about 600 in an outo in drive, but 200 is way too low. If the vehicle is stock this might be an issue for the dealership to address. How many miles are on it? Let's kick this pig!
laz
It may be a good introduction if you said what your car was? X ---
laz
I have avatars turned off, so I can't see it. It still helps in a post to describe what the car model is. X ---

GTTuner
I used ECU explorer and I set my idle to 700 rpm. It is under the tool menu where timing can be adjusted also.
