acooper5
Yep, I am going to do the tranny cooler and then take it to get the BG flush and Additive with Subaru ATF. The shop said I needed 16 quarts to do a true flush, is that correct and how much should I except to pay at Subaru for the ATF? Semper Fi.
korpsepatrol
Can someone enlighten me and tell me what is a BG flush? I just thought a flush with the subaru or amsoil ATF would be all that is needed, but i see you guys mention the BG flush. 2008 6mt Legacy Gt Spec B DGM - Not so Stock/Work in progress 2006 5mt Legacy Gt OBP - Sold 2005 5eat Legacy Gt OBP - RIP R.I.P Coxx
VTGT
BG flush with a Subaru ATF fill & use the BG additive. Remember tranny cooler first:) Does the Flush include both of these products? http://www.bgprod.com/products/transmission.html There is an authorized BG place around here I am assuming they would know what I am talking about if I asked for a BG flush and fill with oem subaru fluid. traskw
I used amsoil in my 97 subaru at 60k and it made a huge difference. That and it shifted just as smoothly at 160k on the same fluid.
