KayGT
$20 strut bars...will these actually be effective and work? I don't really see what would seperate this from a $200 bar considering they just hold 2 ends together. http://cgi.ebay.com/05-07-SUBARU-LEGACY-2-5I-GT-WAGON-REAR-STRUT-TOWER-BAR_W0QQitemZ260144972178QQihZ016QQcategoryZ33591QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/STRUT-TOWER-BAR-FRONT-SUBARU-LEGACY-05-06-2-5i-2-5-GT_W0QQitemZ160143040372QQihZ006QQcategoryZ33591QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
mwiener2
The difference between a $200 bar and a $20 bar is the $20 has about $10 worth of metal in it (they gotta make a profit somewhere). $10 of metal gets you some thin walled cheap ass steel. $200 gets you thicker walled hardened Aluminum alloy or some other form of quality metal. The $20 bar will flex and basicly be eye candy under the hood. The $200 bar will actually be functional.... well as functional as a strut bar can be. mwiener2
If you look under the slats in front of the windshield wipers and just under where the hood covers.... where the air intake for the HVAC is... You can see that we have a stock "strut bar" already. My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
