jdgrimes
About a year ago, I had some repair work done on my car. Shortly there after, I discoverd that the wiring for the windshield "mist" features appears to have gotten messed up. That is, when I attempt to mist the front window, it actually mists the rear window, and vice-versa. Humorously, it still activates the correct wipers, so what happens is that I mist the rear window, and the front wipers clear the (dry) front window, or I mist the front window and the rear wiper clear the (dry) rear window. I could probably try to go back and convince the repair shop that this really did happen when they did the work a rear ago, but I figured this was probably a simple wiring lead mixup that I could probably fix myself. Does anyone happen to know how I might fix this? Thanks.
pflo
This happened on my Golf after I replaced the washer pump: the hoses coming from the washer pump were reversed.

Thanks for the suggestion, that would make sense. I'll take a look at see how hard it is to get to the hoses.
