subyinsnow Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 We've been getting hammered with snow over here in No. California, a few feet in the last couple days. Anyways, I went to pull out of a parking lot and the tires spun a little, not bad just a little. The check engine light and ABS light both came on. The Cruise light also started blinking and the odometer read Err 55. I'll give the dealer a call soon, but just curious if anyone else has had a similar problem.
laz Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 SEARCH but yes and many have the same thing happen many times. It will clear up in a couple of days worth of driving. X ---
SubiGT Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 And after you're done searching, disconnect the negative battery terminal, step on the brakes for 30 seconds, and reconnect the battery. CEL bye-bye. Works the same for leaving the gascap loose, too. Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!
