When you bought your Legacy, did the dealer give you a gift?

I got nothing from the Subaru dealer. I got two t-shirts and two sheepskin ice scrapers from my Acura dealer though when I bought my TSX.
My dealer throws a BBQ for new owners every couple of months, with food, door prizes, and time with the Subaru techs to ask questions. I got a good meal, an STi pen and some helpful info.
My dealership does that too, every 2nd Tuesday of the month they have a new owner appreciation meeting in the evening. They serve food, and give out prizes.

Oh yeah, they fed me lunch cuz I got there at about 11 and was bonking around 2:30pm. Drove the freakin' Baja I almost got instead to a sub shop, brought lunch back and sealed the deal on the Legacy, thank God. Finally got out of the dealership at about 5:15...

When I bought my WRX. they gave me a calendar with a picture of my wife and I standing by our new car. They also gave me a WRX hat (that I never wear). Before I even considered buying a new car, they invited us up to the dealership for a free buffet dinner with free beer and wine. My wife and I went...I drank beer..lots of it. She drank wine...lots of it. We ate a little. We saw the white LGT Ltd. that is now in my garage. No...we never talked to a salesperson. Just drank. Had a great time. But we fell in love with "Pearl". I had to have her (and so did my wife). Did my comparison shopping and bought her for $100 over invoice within the week. Got the $25 visa card, the $500 subarubucks and I assume some maintenance coupons. I asked about the calendar and the salesperson said "We don't do that anymore". No problem...I'm a sucker for beer.

Here's a list of the things I got: - a brass keychain with the dealer's logo. - free rear license plate holder with the dealer's logo. - free scuff mark on my door from the salesman trying to rub off some dirt using a nubbed cloth and unidentified green goop compound. - three free dents in my rear bumper - free scratched console when they installed a short throw shifter - free verbal attack from a manager when they tried to blame me for the scratched console. - free warranty service for their three attempts to fix the alignment on my car with no success whatsoever. Incidentally this was finally fixed by another dealer. The brass keychain and license plate holder both went into the garbage can. I refuse to give that dealer any further business.

I got a rear plate frame too, but I don't mind. I refused the free front holes and rear sticker though. I really like the dealership, and that's half the reason I'm waiting on the debadge (get the nameplate out there). It may sound crazy, but I wouldn't mind more people going to them rather than the other shady Subaru dealership in the area.
