g0ndor
new member. have been reading the forums for a couple of months and am still debating between a new 07SpecB or a new 06LGT 5MT - price diff 10K. I'll try to make this short - car is a daily drive. i don't and will not do track. I am considering stageII and/or 18G turbo(+ necessary upgrades) for either car, even though i like Bosco's sig "stay stock, stay happy'. I like some of the extras the SpecB offers (Torsen LSD, Bilstein struts, 6MT, NAV-VDC+TCS, top safety pick), but i am not sure if it is enough to justify the price diff, just like with the 06SpecB. If i was to buy the LGT i will be able to afford 2-3K for JDM Bilstein upgrade, but that's about all i consider reasonable. I will not wait for the 2008 or 2050 refresh. Either car will be a big upgrade from my current one and i hope to keep it for 5+ years, of course the LGT, being cheaper, might justify a replacement sooner. Any advice is appreciated. thanks in advance.
edkwon
if saving mnoney is a priority, get the 5MT, i bought the 07 SpecB for the 6 spd, but honestly, unless youre modding your car for monstrous hp, the 5MT works fine. personally ive been driving 5 spds for years and just wanted a 6MT sport sedan.
