Ok, I'm just looking for honest feedback here.

I loved the Stromung Catback setup I had on my old 2002 Impreza Outback Sport Wagon. I have a Borla Header, with the Stromung Catback DTM (Dual Tip Muffler). It sounded AWESOME!!! Even had a few heads turns with a WTF look on there face...one guy mouthed, "that sounds like a WRX!!!" - haha! That was on the way to a drive and meet dinner to...haha...should have seen us storm the Ricer Party - anywho...back on topic...I honestly think on the LGT (and it may just be the pictures) the Single Tip Outlets look cleaner then the Dual Tip Outlets...maybe if the Dual Tip Outlets were brought "up" alittle more it would work better look wise???

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

A little visual assitance:

Oh, and here's my old OBS with the Stromung

Stromung looks terrible on LGT - tips too big and not tucked at all in cutouts.

I'd like either if done right.

Yeah, I agree. I should have added in a forth option...but I agree...something like this:

Hmmm...I wonder if I got a Stromung if I could "alter" it just a tad to look more "finished"

the dual outlets don't look bad it's just the stock cutouts are too small or not shaped correctly for them. when the ends aren't rolled it makes the set look cheap or not finished more like a diy look. the winner in my book is single outlet with rolled tips. bosco

If you order directly from Stromung, and you know exactly what you need (say tips moved in 0.5" and raised 1") they will build it for you and only charge you if it costs more for parts or whatever.

I ordered my first catback from them directly, but just ordered it straight up. Hmmmmmmmmm....lol...your gonna' make me broke...now I just need some dimensions of how they have it currently so I can get the measurements to alter it to taste...haha...anyone have pictures of Bosco? I thoght the Borla system looked pretty finished...stockish even...aka sleeper style?

Ok, I've narrowed it down to PERRIN (which I think I might have found a pretty good deal on - eBay and all) or STROMUNG. I may call them directly tomorrow to compare prices. It may boil down to pricing, and if STROMUNG can sit the tips up a tad higher. I think it would look mean if they fit in the cut outs closer...other thoughts welcome guys...

Oh, and FYI I'm getting a PERRIN Full Length DP very soon. I may just stick with PERRIN stuff...seems really nice...and maybe time to try them on for size...I mean I know I love Stromung's sound....but people rave about PERRIN to....hhhmmmm....

There is also a SPT catback on eBay cheap right now....although I'm not sure how that would compare to PERRIN and or Stromung!?

The problem with the Megan and the STi mufflers is that the tips aren't rolled, if they were rolled and polished, then it'd be hawt.

Corazon makes a set of dual-tip mufflers that tuck under the bumper fairly well. They also come either in rolled or straight-cut. However, they're a bit pricey for mufflers.

I'm thinking about picking up a set of the wagon mufflers for my sedan.

So I've decided PERRIN is the path I'll be taking with my LGT. Now to find the best possible price. So far the one I found for $920.xxish shipped seems to be the best one thus far....any other suggestions for places to order!?
