2004OutbackVT Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 I just bought my very first Subaru, a 2004 Outback wagon and I love it. The problem is, either the car dealer or the former owner decided to shampoo the floor/carpet of the back part of the wagon but didn't wait until it dried to put the rubber liner back on top of the carpet. Now the car has an awful mildew smell and I can't get rid of it. I pulled out the floor of the wagon back, which seems to be a particle board of sorts covered with the carpet. Does anybody know if I can actually buy a replacement for the back of the wagon, and where I can find it? To clarify, I don't need to replace the carpet in the front or back seats, just the carpet/floor of the back part of the wagon. Thanks for any help.
