BigRob
I just payed off my 02 6spd max, and i am looking to get the LGT. Love my max, but I want AWD, and the sound of a boxer motor is just so damn sweet! I plan on going to the dealership this weekend, and when i built the car online, it was like 28K or so. Is subaru good with giving discounts? thanks
misterpink
A fair price is invoice minus any current incentives. A great price is below invoice - incentives. You can look up the invoice price on any of usual internet sites - they are all pretty close to the same. Keep in mind if you are buying the car in the northeast, they do not get their cars from Subaru of America, and their invoice prices are a few hundred dollars more than you are probably seeing online. Good Luck!

misterpink
< Massapequa Check out my recent thread in here about my purchase - too much to retype! If you decide to go local, see Mike @ Metric in Huntington, or Jean at Hassett in Wantagh! Jean was able to quote me invoice and Mike was a few hundred over invoice - but Metric is a great dealership and their service department is a big tuning shop - *cough*modfriendly*cough*. If you decide to go the way I did .. PM me for contact info @ fitz. I'd post exactly what I spent, but theres so many variations in options I'm not sure how useful it would be - but if you are interested in something specific let me know and I'll give you my opinion on the price. Good Luck!

Fantastipotamus
I paid about 34k for mine. I probably should have bargained down a bit, but i'm not good at that.

Crawdaddy79
I was quoted $28k for the car including all my options (about $1500 worth including short throw). Incentives not included. Car wont be in until January - hopefully they can strike me something good. Best way to do it is request a quote through Subaru's site. I've gotten nothing but success with that on several dealerships.
