BlueDevil
My sales guy wasn't sure about it (surprise, surprise:lol: ), but I was wondering if there is an OEM Navi unit for the 05 LGT (wagon in my case) and where I might be able to source such a piece. I have the spot for it like the newer ones have, but is it easily installed and wired? Thanks!!

zmarko
What Andrew is trying to say is, "no". lol. And, no, they can't be easily retro-fitted. (Unless you've got a shit load of money to waste).
Guest
They can be retrofitted, it's not really difficult, I am sure, but is TOTALY NOT WORTH the big $$$$$. Get a portable unit. I am looking at Magellan 2200T, possibly Magellan Crossover.
andrew.anderson
I am actually laughing because there are already entire threads dedicated to this question and I was looking gorward to the approaching bashing that was/is coming BlueDevils way. BTW, We have an 05LGT also. Go get yourself a nice touchscreen and DIY.
burnin4
I had a pioneer avic z1 installed in my 05 lgt . It's not cheap or easy, but it's worth it. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48637
BlueDevil
i tried searching, but the search function left we a little wanting. i'll probably go the handheld route. i had an avic n-1 in my XT, but i can't use it in the LGT obviously. andrew.anderson
AC and I got a DVD/MP3/WMA/CD/Ipod Capable Touch Screen Head Unit on Black Friday for $350 after rebate. It is in the mail on it's way here to Germany. We bought so much stuff we had to mail it from the states to ourselves due to the weight allowances by airlines. andrew.anderson
The unit we bought has video in so you can connect a GPS to it. I am unsure what software it supports though.

andrew.anderson
They need to get over it. That is what they get for not waiting until 06. You make a choice. You live with it. Light years better than the OEM unit.
